I learned they are many more things I need to learn about technology!

I have learned that we could almost teach a class without meeting our students.

I enjoyed creating a movie using movie maker, even if we had to start over because somebody forgot to save. It's frustrating sometimes learning the new info and trying to figure out at the same time how you could use it in your own class.

I really like the wikispaces for classroom organization and availability for parents. My worry is making sure that things stay PRIVATE and out of the hands of students or anyone else who may be looking.

There is so much technology available today-how will I ever learn about it? Is there a way to extend the hours in a day?

I feel extremely overwhelmed right now as I have not used most of these programs before.

Everything that we learned today is s usefull tool in education. However, convincing our IT department to unblock the sites is a different story. Also, staying current and keeping everything updated is a full time job in itself, making to difficult to actually plan out a lesson

I learned how to make and edit a movie using movie maker, how to set up a wiki space, and a blog spot. I also learned how relevant all of these things are to integrating technology into our teaching everyday.

I agree with both Jen and Valerie very strongly as well - too much, too little time, and privacy issues as well.

I did not know how to use a wiki or blog prior to today. This is much better than creating a website.

Sometimes I think that might be nice Kirsten.....

Great feedback guys. I understand about feeling overwhelmed. So much to cover and so little time. I know that we are going fast, but, hopefully we have given you enough written material that you can go back and explore later!

I am incredibly frustrated at this point and feel like an idiot in terms of technology. In fact I feel like a failure as a teacher because I am having so much difficulty comprehending this information. I have already forgotten what we learned on the first day of class.

Love the wiki idea - a lot more intuitive than webspaces. Whether I can incorporate it with timing issues is going to be the question.
